Monster Mash

Dear Party Planner,

I am planning a birthday party for eight 11-year-old boys. I am at a loss for what to do for these kids. They are not really little kids, not really teen-agers. There will be only boys at the party and I have NO IDEA where to start the planning of the coolest party ever.

I don't have too many more opportunities to treat my son to an "awesome" day--so I am open to any ideas you might have.

Mary: A single mom - NY.

Dear Mary,

An unfilled ambition of mine has always been to drive a huge truck. A big rig. A semi…Perhaps watching CONVOY as a kid 11 skillion times effected me. I dunno. An even bigger dream has always been to be Monster Truck driver, but my parents steered me away from that career and pushed me towards my current occupation. Why Mom? Why!

Finally, I can cleanse myself of my unhealthy obsession--and I happily pass it along to your son!Team Events, (a wickedly clever group of event planners and merrymakers if I do say so myself), has a Monster Truck Track that is suitable for my next party, (or yours) corporate events, picnics, family reunions, or perhaps the day after my tax refund comes in when I just want some “ME” time! (Take that Mom!)

The Monster Truck Track comes fully loaded, with steering wheel controlled miniature monster trucks and 42” plasma screen TVs showing monster truck scenes. The Mini Monster Trucks race, crush and smash (SMASH! Most important! Smash!) their way in a 12' x 12' Area. Supposedly, the kids will like this…I do not know. I do know, I like this! I like this very, very much.

Actually I know your son and all his friends will really love this too - AND you will be "the best mom ever" -- a present for you more than him!

Give us a call at 1-800-best-party and we will hook you up with the Monster Truck Track. Have an amazing party.
