Dear Party Planner --
A quick question for you: Can I rent a putting green? (and where?) I am hosting a fundraiser in the New York City area and one idea from a board member is to do a "hole in one" contest.
I need to know ASAP!
THANKS - Kaitlin (a stressed not-for-profit assistant in the tri-state area!)
Hi Kaitlin,
Take a deep breath. Yes you can rent a putting green, but let me tell you a little story first:
I’m a simple man. I don’t need all those bells and whistles that kids these days seem to crave with their entertainment. While I have adapted to the internet and cell phone age, I’m certainly more content with the peaceful and more laid back side of life. It is probably not shocking to you then, that I am an avid golfer.
I tend to enjoy any event way-way-way more when it involves golf. I dressed up like Tiger Woods last year for Halloween, and the year before I was Dinah Shore (but that is another story...) Now, when I go to local happenings, I love to see Team Event’s Putting Challenge. It puts a smile on my face, and some peace into my heart.
You see... golf heals the soul...
While it’s nowhere near as fun as actually being out on the green, Team Event’s Putting Challenge is a fantastic and often challenging experience for any baller. It’s an electronic skill putting green which moves and changes angles each and every time the player putts. The changing “terrain” and different angles certainly give you the illusion of playing on a real golf course, and here you don’t have to be worried about getting hit by a wayward drive. Our Putting Challenge is perfect for the company party, FUNDRAISER, corporate events or backyard party! Nothing makes my day better then watching my boss struggle with his golf swing. I mean it. It’s really…ummmm, relaxing.
ok, ok, to answer the question, yes... yes you can rent a putting green. Just give us a call at 1-800-best-party and we will hook you up!
