Dear Party Planner:
Should I go with a band or a DJ for my event? I just don't know... My company is planning an event in the Fall and I am not sure if we should hire a DJ or go with the guys from the call center who have a "garage band"... Help!

Hi Grace:
Did you know that 4 out of 5 scientists have determined that the DJ is the most necessary element at a successful party? ... OK, I just made that up... but: The DJ is the audio master of ceremonies, charged with making sure the groove and vibe are at top-level. DJing skills aren’t simply just putting a record on a turntable or hitting play on your fav CD. Oh no, oh no my musically challenged pal. A DJ has to gage the room, figure out what the crowd wants and is responding to, and take the event to the next party level. Some people are born with this kind of talent, some people can develop it, and some will be hopelessly lost behind the mike. You can be the first kid on your block to try out your turntable powers with the Scratch master DJ from Team Events. Team Events will send an expert DJ's to your next big throw-down who, if you will teach you how to become a “Scratch Master.” This is can be your first step into joining the ranks of such legendary names like Tiesto, Victor Caldrone, Junior Vasquez, and Hex Hector. Plus, we all know how popular DJs are with the celebrities. Maybe after a few parties with a Team Events Scratch master, you can start dating a celebrity! Okay….that might be a bit of a push, but while you might not become Lindsay Lohan’s new squeeze, you can at least take pride into being the man or woman responsible for getting your whole class, company, or family out on the dance floor!
Of course if you still decide a band is the way to go... how about a professional group like our Caribbean Band! They are unique, fun, talented and they don't have to take a "sick day" from the call center to practice before the big party!
